If any of you have even the slightest interest, apparently Steam is running a sale on goddamned everything, and it's fucking phenomenal. Not just the combo packs, but individual games are cheap. There's shit on there that's only a couple bucks.
So if you just want to waste some time browsing, or you've been holding out for that one particular game (supposing your computer's up to speed), or even if you want to check out the older games (I just talked my sister into gifting me the Jedi Knight bundle for my birthday... =])(I haven't played Dark Forces in YEARS...oh the nostalgia that awaits me. And I never got to play the Mysteries of the Sith expansion)(now I just have to fix my goddamn computer. Think I'll finally make some headway tonight, now that I have additional motive),
ACT ON THIS NOW. It goes through January 3rd.

Good hunting.

EDIT (6:30am):
Got my computer fixed (at least got my primary drive working. How much of my secondary drive (and incidentally my music/movies/etc.) I'll be able to salvage is up in the air, but I'm not going to tackle that until after the holiday, considering I'm going to work this morning, and leaving for Louisville from there), and apparently Cat already got me the pack. Downloading Dark Forces and MotS right now. And as a bonus she threw in the King's Quest pack (KQ 1-7, 6 being my fondest memory of the bunch) and STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl (I was browsing the list of games and commenting on them as I was telling Cat about the Star Wars pack...guess she felt generous with the cheap prices.).
Oh, happy day!
And I get to play them for exactly one and a half hours before I have to start my day (shower, packing, drive cat to work, oil change, haircut, work, etc.)...fucknuts.
Oh well. They'll be waiting for me when I get back. At least now I have shit to occupy the waning hours, in addition to what I'll get on X-Mas. I know I have a couple of books and media otherwise coming my way. We shall see...
God help me if I get the Playstation. Even if I could sleep afterwards, I won't want to...
